The 21st annual All Corvette Cruise-In hosted by the Old Dominion Corvette Club is right around the corner. This year the event will be held on August 14th in the Sudley Town Plaza and will run from 2pm-6pm. The first 250 Corvettes will receive dash plaques; there will also be plenty of other opportunities to win prizes available.
During the show Mr DJ will be playing live, there will be great food and beverages available from local vendors, and of course, Corvettes everywhere. As the main sponsor of the Corvette Cruise-In we will be in attendance meeting, talking to, and answering any questions that you may have about your Corvette. I have a 1997 Corvette, my service traction message came on. After stopping the Corvette, turning it off, and restarting it the message never came up again, but the check engine light stays on now. Do I have a traction problem? Do I need to take the Corvette to a Chevrolet dealer?

Without knowing what the code is I can’t really tell you what the problem is. If you were local to us I would tell you to bring the Corvette by so we could hook the GM computer up to it and tell you what the issue is. With that being said I would hunt for a good Corvette mechanic in your area and then consider the dealer if you can’t find anyone.
