c1-corvette-LED-tail-light-assembly-featured

Give the rear view of your 1956 – 1957 Corvette new life by installing LED tail lights  - you’ll also increase safety and efficiency as you drive. LED lights are brighter, appear quicker, burn cooler and last longer than your C1 Corvette’s factory tail light bulbs.

Each 1956-1957 Corvette LED Tail Light Lens & Bulb Assembly Kit includes a new reproduction tail light lens, LED light bulb assembly and wiring harness pigtail that will connect directly into your Corvette rear wiring harness. There are no modifications required for this installation and you can return your Corvette back to its factory, original appearance at any time.  Sold in pairs.

While you’re equipping your Corvette with LED lights, you may also want to consider a Corvette LED Flasher Assembly. LED bulbs draw much less current than factory style bulbs, so your turn signal indicators will flash faster due to a blown bulb warning. These replacement flashers will provide the resistance needed to make the LED turn signals flash correctly. Fully electronic, no load replacement flashers are made for LED technology and will drive your LED indicator bulbs safely. Ground Black wire to a body or dash ground.

C3 Fiber Optic Boots and Ferrules
C3 Fiber Optic Boots and Ferrules

Zip now offers 1968-1971 Corvette Fiber Optic Boots and Ferrules that will repair your Corvette’s factory headlight or rear tail light harness.

Often, the end of the fiber optics ferrules are broken and the ferrule is gone. The quick fix for many is to glue, tape or adhere the fiber optic harness into the lens, however this impairs the fiberoptics and won’t allow the light to travel through the optic, in turn not allowing the display on your console to work correctly.

Coupled with our Corvette Fiber Optics Repair Kit,  you can completely repair your Corvette’s original harness and install factory ferrule ends and boots for a correct installation.

Corvette Dome Light Circuit Boards
Corvette Dome Light Circuit Boards

Corvettes from 1978 to 1989 have a courtesy or dome light timer which leaves the interior lights on for a short period of time after the last door is closed. On a late C3, the courtesy light timer is located below the right A-pillar and behind the dashboard trim. On an early C4 Corvette, the dome light timer is behind the right side of the instrument panel.

Zip Corvette sells replacement circuit boards for both the 1978-1982 C3 and 1984-1989 C4 timers. With both C3 and C4 Corvettes, once you get the timer module removed and disconnected, you simply open the timer, remove the existing burned-out circuit board and replace it with Zip’s new circuit board.

If you are buying a board, there is also a choice of two light shut-off strategies. Zip Corvette’s standard dome light timer board has the stock delay on light shut-off after the last door is closed. Zip, also, has a no-delay circuit board which eliminates the delay, ie: when the last door closes, the courtesy lights go out immediately.

All of Zip’s Corvette Dome Light Timer Circuit Boards are made in USA. They are burned-in and tested before shipping. Each timer uses the existing stock connections so no wiring work is required for installation.

C4 Corvette Circuit Board Update – 2/7/11

1984-1989 C4 Corvettes could have three different interior lamp delay modules installed in them.  The modules can be quickly identified by the part number on the outside of the housing.

The connectors are the same for all 1984-1989 C4 Corvette modules. The difference is in the module function! 14066560 & 14080625: when the key is turned off the interior lamps do not come on.  Lamps only come on when the door or hatch is opened. 10098435: when the key is turned off the interior lamps do come on.
