Zip Corvette is back again this year with our 2nd annual Cruisin’ in the Fast Lane customer appreciation cruise-in! Join us at our corporate headquarters in Mechanicsville, VA on Saturday, May 4 from 10 am – 3 pm for a day of food, fun and all things Corvette!

Our showroom will be open with a special 10% discount for everyone on-site. We’ll offer up hourly door prize drawings and a complimentary lunch will be served from 11 am-1 pm. Say Hello to the Next Generation of Corvettes

The waiting – and guessing – is over. GM has unveiled the seventh generation in the Corvette legacy – the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray.  It’s been more than 25 years since a Corvette was given the moniker Stingray, the name was last used in 1976. The general consensus around here is that it was worth the wait.

Justin Abbott, Zip’s Vice President and Technical Supervisor, weighed in after the reveal. “I’m really excited about the new C7 Corvette. The engineering that went into this Stingray is amazing, ” said Abbott. “I especially like the dash display that changes depending on the drive mode selected and the 7-speed transmission is going to be a blast.”

This new C7 is not resting on the laurels of any previous generations. In fact, only 2 Corvette Parts carried over. Bold new exterior features coupled with a completely new interior make for a brand new experience that is still every bit Corvette.

Fans will have to sit tight for just a while longer before they can hit the road in the new Corvette, which won’t be available for purchase until later this year. But again, we think it will be worth the wait.

It’s Coming – C7 Corvette Reveal This Weekend 01.13.13

It’s coming…the official reveal of the next generation Corvette is this Sunday, January 13. Following months of speculation and notorious “spy photos”, questions will finally be answered in just a matter of hours.

GM is promising “transformational advances in design, engineering and technology” and die hard Corvette fans can’t wait to weigh in.  Positioned as an overture to the opening of the North American International Auto Show next week in Detroit, the Sunday night reveal is only open to a select group of media and guests. However, GM has decided to livestream the event, so that all Corvette enthusiasts can watch in real time.

If you’re not one of the very few lucky enough to be in attendance, you’ve got three options. You can watch the reveal on  You Tube at youtube.com/embed/zsQGcD0TJvw, on Facebook at  https://www.facebook.com/corvette or on the Chevrolet web site at http://www.chevrolet.com/one13thirteen.html. No matter where you watch, they suggest you tune in no later than 6:55 pm EST because the webcast will begin promptly at 7:00.
